About this site

Odd Answer (oddanswer.com) is a free browser game: name a correct answer to a prompt that few other players would give. By playing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Independent game

Odd Answer is an independent game inspired by Krillion. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by the makers of Krillion, and is not affiliated with krillion.io. "Krillion" is used only to describe what this game is inspired by. The official daily game is at krillion.io. Odd Answer's prompts, answer lists and scoring are its own.

Answers and scores

The lists of accepted answers come mostly from Wikidata, plus answers we add and remove by hand, and are large but not complete, and the rarity of each answer is worked out from what players answer, so scores move over time as more people play. Scores are for fun: we do not guarantee that every correct answer is accepted or that a score stays the same, and there are no prizes.

Challenges and names

  • A challenge link shows the name, score and answers of everyone who played it to anyone who has the link. Only type a name you are happy for others to see.
  • Do not use names that are offensive, impersonate someone, or contain personal information. We may remove entries or challenges that break these rules.
  • Do not try to flood a leaderboard, disrupt the site, scrape it at high volume, or copy the prompts and answer lists to republish them as your own.

Optional account

You can play without an account. If you sign in with Google, your progress is kept with your account so it follows you across devices, and challenge entries you make while signed in show a ✓. Keep your Google account secure; you can sign out at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@oddanswer.com. See the Privacy Policy for what is stored.

Answer data

Accepted answers are drawn mostly from Wikidata, available under CC0.

No warranty

The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
